Slomczyn 21 July – The GP of Poland was a thrilling race full of emotions for the crowd that attended the event and witnessed a prodigious finale just a few corners before the end of the last moto with Julen Avila Cortes (KTM Mtr Racing) being the most constant rider who came home with the first victory of his career. Marc Reiner Schmidt (L30 Racing TM Moto) was the author of a phenomenal recovery in the Super Final and remains the red plate holder with a wider margin over Thomas Chareyre (SGR Grau Racing), third qualified.
S1GP Fast Race
At the start of the Fast Race Elia Sammartin (Gazza Racing) could not make the best out of his pole position being overtaken by Thomas Chareyre (SGR Grau Racing) and Marc Reiner Schmidt (L30 Racing TM Moto). In the first lap Sammartin slipped in a corner before the finish line, luckily without injuries but the bike had several damages so the rider was forced to abandon the race. Unexpected events did not finish. After Marc Reiner Schmidt opened a small margin over Chareyre, was affected by a flat tyre in the eighth lap and a bad crash. After a stop at the pit lane the German rider finished 15th.
Thomas Chareyre had the green light in the last four laps and won the Fast Race, with the possibility to start from the pole position in the Super Final being far away from his main rivals. Second spot went to Milan Sitniansky (Honda), who qualified in front of Julen Avila Cortes (KTM Mtr Racing), best Rookie rider.

S1GP SuperFinal
The outcome of the Super Final was not clear until a few laps before the end. Thomas Chareyre pulled away from the first place and made no mistakes immediately taking the lead and opening a small margin over rivals. The French rider was chased by Sitniansky and Avila Cortes who battled it out in the first laps. Marc Reiner Schmidt started from 15th place and worked his way up but slipped after a few laps and had to recover once again. While leading the race Thomas Chareyre was affected by a flat tyre which forced him to stop at the pit lane to change it. Sitniansky and Avila Cortes battled it out for the lead of the race with the Spanish rider who eventually took the lead. Marc Reiner Schmidt was the author of another thrilling recovery with one fast lap after the other and ended up moving to the front just a few laps before the end. Milan Sitiansky missed the chance to battle it out for the victory because of a flat tyre so the GP victory went to Julen Avila Cortes who also won in the Rookie class, Marc Reiner Schmidt was second and Thomas Chareyre third.
Julen Avila Cortes, who is only 17-year-old, won the first GP of his career.
