Albaida – 30 March – The first race of the newborn S2 category offered a great show with several riders who battled it out for the overall victory. Melvin Viola (Honda) qualified in front of Adrien Sarda (Honda) and Noah Champagne (TM Moto). The SM Junior was ruled by Yevsevii Kovalov (Husqvarna).
S2 Race 2
The second race of the S2 had several twists. After taking the lead Giani Catorc (GasGas) was forced to abandon the race because of a broken muffler. Melvin Viola (Honda) moved to the front but was affected by a long lap penalty because of an early start so he gave the green light to Adrien Sarda (Honda) who eventually won the race. Viola stunned the crowd with his thrilling speed and closed the gap reaching second place. Noah Champagne crossed the finish line in third position.

S2 Race 3
The final race of the day closed the long race schedule and saw the victory of Giani Catorc, but all his efforts to come home with the victory and step onto the podium were broken by a failed sound test at the end of the race. The rider lost five positions. Melvin Viola came home with the race victory and the first place in the overall standings, followed by Adrien Sarda and Noah Champagne who joined the winner on the podium.

SM Junior Race 1
Yevsevii Kovalov (Husqvarna) had a little indecision at the start of the first moto but stretched away and did not miss the first place. The Ukrainian rider’s race pace was unbeatable and allowed him to cross the finish line in first place with an amazing advantage. Second place went to Hungarian David Zsolt Dereczki (Husqvarana) and Lorenz Bang (KTM) was third.

Kovalov was the protagonist of another showdown and according to what he showed this weekend he is the rider to defeat. Yevsevii rode his Husqvarna to perfection, made no mistakes and was impeccable on the tarmac as well as on the off-road section. Bereczki was second and Ivota third on the first podium of the Junior season.
