Albaida (Spain), 27 March 2025 – This morning took place at the Palau Marquesal in the City of Albaida, the presentation of the Grand Prix of Comunitat Valenciana, the first round of the Supermoto World Championship.
The Mayor of the City, Mr. Juan Carlos Roses, presided over the event, highlighting how important this race is for the city” thanking the Motorcycling Federation of the Valencian Community and XIEM, the company that promotes the FIM Supermoto World Championship.
The President of the Moto Club Ciutat d’Albaida Mr. Ramòn Porta thanked all the people who ensure the perfect running of the races and thanked the FMCV for the support they always receive. Mr. Ramòn Porta stressed that the Moto Club’s objective is to complete the work on the track, improve the access points, the reception facilities and the circuit.
The presentation was attended, in addition to the Mayor and the President of the organizing Moto Club, by the Spanish S1GP rider Paquito Gómez, Alberto Vaello, Supermoto Manager of FMCV; Alessandro Erzegovaz XIEM General Manager and Rober López Councilor for Sports of the City of Albaida.
All stakeholders agree that the Circuit of Albaida is a well-tested structure to successfully host the World Championship, also thanks to the professionalism of its staff.
In the morning, a visit to the schools of the town was also organized with great success with the pilot Paquito Gómez, who explained to the kids the importance of the event in the city and with great enthusiasm signed autographs on the t-shirts.
