A THRILLING WEEK-END IS EXPECTED IN CAROLE FOR THE 2024 EDITION OF THE FIM SUPERMOTO OF NATIONS

Carole (France) 26 September 2024 – The most important and prestigious race of the Supermoto season is, without a doubt, the FIM SuperMoto of Nations and is scheduled the coming weekend at the track of Carole, France, located in the outskirts of Paris. A very modern circuit which welcomed many times the World Championship as well as several editions of the Supermoto of Nations.

The track features three off-road sections and a very fast tarmac session with technical corners.

The current holders of the prestigious cup dedicated to Francesco Zerbi and conquered last year in Italy at the track of Castelletto di Branduzzo, will try to replicate an epic victory and conquer the desired trophy for the tenth time in a row. The National team will count on leader and veteran Thomas Chareyre, who will probably join the event for the last time as a rider, as well as on young Steve Bonnal – who was perfect last year and conquered the points his team needed – and Sylvain Bidart who was the recent victim of a crash. The team will be guided by technical coach Sebastien Bonnal, who is trying to make Bidart recover on time. Team France could write the history of Supermoto with France seeking their 10th title in a row.

The strong French army will be chased by several teams seeking the prestigious title. First of all, team Italy which have always been a protagonist in the history of the event. Elia Sammartin, Fabrizio Bartolini and Luca D’Addato will try to prevail over the French team in their home country.

Among the other protagonists there will be Spain, with Julen Avila Cortes who proved to be very fast and tough, but also defending World Champion Marc-Reiner Schmidt will try to make his country triumph and take back the victory they took for the last time back in 2009. The last nation with great chances to do well is Austria with KTM rider Lukas Hollbacher who recently got back to track after several months and together with his teammates will be looking forward to improving the performance registered in 2023. Many nations will try to break the supremacy detained by France which can count nine victories in a row. Others Nations are Cezch Republic, Belgium with two teams, Switzerland, Sweden and Portugal.

The Supermoto of Nations will also welcome Junior teams where the rookie talented riders of the class will have the chance to prove their abilities at a very important event. Also among the Junior teams, France is the title holder and will battle it out with talented team Italy. Everything is ready for an amazing show.
