Slomczyn 20 July – At the third seasonal appointment with the Junior European Championship, standings leader Andrea Benvenuti (KTM Mtr Racing) literally had to sweat his guts out before reaching the pole position. Nathan Terraneo (KTM) made it difficult for his rival till time ran out, while third place went to Ukrainian Yevsevii Kovalyov (Husqvarna).
SM Junior Free Practices
Andrea Benvenuti (KTM Mtr Racing) had no problems with taking the lead straight away. The Italian rider immediately found the best trajectories on a track new to him and climbed the standings. Another fast rider was Swiss Nathan Terraneo (KTM) who took second place, and the front row was rounded off by Yevsevii Kovalyov (Husqvarna).

SM Junior Time Practice
The Junior time practice hosted a great battle between Andrea Benvenuti (KTM Mtr Racing) and Nathan Terraneo (KTM) who were the protagonists of a long-distance duel. The Italian rider immediately moved to the head of the pack, but the Swiss took the best time away from him. Benvenuti had to commit harder than expected to get back to first place and could overtake his rival only in the final seconds eventually coming home with the pole position. Yevsevii Kovalyov (Husqvarna) was third qualified and fourth place went to Daniele Cornolti (GasGas) even if it seemed he could have finished in third position but had to feel happy with the fourth one under the checkered flag.
